The Bobcat Battalion was started in 1994 by LCDR Bingham USN (ret), and  has become one of the best in the nation. The unit has received many awards and has traveled to many field meets. 
We host a meet called the Gold Coast Field Meet during the first week in December.  
The Battalion consists of three companies,  with approximately 150 cadets in the unit.
