Cadet   Parent   Organization
We are in the 16th year of this NJROTC program. Each year has been more exciting and more rewarding than the previous one. The realization of successful past events has been brought about from the sponsorship of the NJROTC
Cadets Parents Organization. The NJROTC program is funded only for classroom needs, including uniforms and textbooks. The curriculum can be taught on a minimum level. However, the spirit and soul of the unit which contributes to its success, is the ability to participate in activities outside the classroom. Events such as community service, field trips, team competitions, camps, ceremonies, parades and memorials give our young people opportunities they would not necessarily find available. The logistics of these events include transportation, housing, meals, tickets, etc. The ONLY way these necessities are met is by fundraising. The biggest asset to the NJROTC program has been the incredible motivation and dedication by the parents and patrons who have so generously donated their resources and their time to participate in fundraising activities. This is a nationally ranked award winning NJROTC unit. We are proud to have a CPO membership of over 60 parents and patrons who attend the monthly meetings, that represent over 1/3 of the cadet enrollment.
